Holistic Programming

Holistic Programming

We encourage our young activists to be comprehensive in their programming and projects. By embracing our three pillars of activism (outreach, action, and education), we believe our young activists willaccelerate acceptance like never before.

Responsible Advisement

Responsible Advisement

We value the importance of adults teaching the next generation how to become responsible and powerful leaders. That's why each of our chapters incorporate skilled mentors to advise our young activists on their advocacy projects.

Leading Resources

Leading Resources

We are constantly expanding our partnerships with nationally-recognized organizations to give our young activists the best resources and connections to turn their visions into reality.

Defining Activism.

Activism is a crucial component to any young person's life. Not only does it give opportunities to create a community of shared values, activism works for the betterment of ourcountry. Webelieve the nextgeneration needs to be included in the conversations surrounding what our future will look like and activism gives hope to a community which still experiences a world full of prejudice, discrimination, and hate.

The Indianapolis Chapter
The Movement
In the past century, LGBTQ+ Americans have courageously and repeatedly overcome prejudice, discrimination, and fear. Despite the great strides we have made, the fight for equality is far from over. As the older, more experienced generation of change makers continue to do historic and impactful work for the community, Shelly's Voice seeks to empower and educate the next generation of young activists. Through our national coalition of young activists, we can ensure this movemen won't stop until we are all free and equal.
